Approximately eighteen thousand children die each day of hunger or related causes. Annie is now unlikely to suffer such a fate now that FEED THE HUNGRY established a short term food security program in her Community. Our aim now is to continue giving families access to sufficient food until they have the means to provide adequately for themselves - particularly their children.
What may surprise you is that this life saving work costs only $6 for every 100 meals provided - so much can be achieved for the cost of a take-away meal! It is our prayer that this opportunity to provide so many meals will change the way you see world hunger. It can be beaten.
