Greetings partners and friends,
I wanted to send this email out to everyone to request urgent prayer over our Cambodian outreach. Our international director has sent out this email below to all his contacts, and so I'm forwarding you a copy.
The Devil was not able to stop us from starting our mission here in
Cambodia, but he is trying his hardest to stop us from completing it.
Please pray that he is not successful!Pray for the smooth distribution of our food, and the continuation of the other outreaches planned for the next few weeks. (Concluding with Joyce Meyer speaking in the main city with Delerious & Darlene Zschech which authorities are trying to cancel).

Subject: Pray for Cambodia mission
Hello Staff & Friends,
We need your prayers earnestly.. we've been in Cambodia all week for our outreach project in conjunction with the Hope for Cambodia campaign coordinated by Joyce Meyer Ministries. Things have been going real well for us this week but there has been much adversity from the Cambodian government.Permission previously granted (in writing) to hold outdoor events has
been pulled on several occasions at the last minute; thankfully the
Kampong Thom Celebration we are involved with was able to be held in the soccer fields. There were 20,000+ in attendance the first night which was HUGE... the local pastors were expecting 4,000 or so. All aspects of the ministry have gone very well but I just received word that authorities from Phnom Penh cancelled the event for tonight (the last night of the outreach) and threatened to put anyone meeting at the soccer field tonight in jail (i.e. foreign ministers or local Christians). They also found out about the food distribution that is scheduled to take place at over 100 churches throughout the province; 7,000 food coupons for family packs were passed out to needy families two weeks ago stating they were to come to the specified local church in their area on Sunday,
August 12th to receive their blessing of rice, soup mix, and canned
vegetables. The authorities have forbidden the food distribution...
please pray that the churches will be able to conduct the distribution as planned; if not the local churches and Christianity in general will look very bad in the eyes of the villagers throughout the Kampong Thom province.Come together with us in prayer and declaration that no weapon formed against us will prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn. As Moses spoke the word of the LORD to Pharaoh saying "Let My people go" we speak to the principalities and powers in heavenly and earthly realms that God's people (the pastors and Christians) and God's property (the food given in Jesus' name) are free to carry out His plan and purposes.
The governor of Kampong Thom province has been very favorable and continues to do so, but he reluctantly issued the order today for fear of losing his job, saying that if he doesn't obey the authorities in Phnom Penh, they will quickly replace him with someone who does; so much for Cambodian democracy.
God is in control, as always, and we stand strong in trust. Thank you
for interceding as the Holy Spirit leads.Stefan
