29/3/11 - Japan Earthquake Appeal - Making Progress
As aftershocks from the March 11th earthquake continue to shake Japan and fears of a meltdown at the Fukushima Nuclear Plant continue to drive international news, one story left untold is the hardship facing 220,000+ people displaced from their homes and living in shelters. They have lost loved ones… their homes, farms, businesses, and sense of self, destroyed.
Feed The Hungry is on the front lines purchasing and distributing critically needed supplies through partner church networks like CRASH Japan and the Assemblies of God.
"People (in shelters) are being cared for physically, but there is no joy, no love." He added, "It is important they have food and water, but without the hope of Christ they are still in need."

8/4/11 - Armanda da Roza Field Report
Armanda da Roza shares her personal experiences from her trip to earthquake affected regions.
"...But people around the world have not realised that the disaster is still continuing.
Last night there was another major shake in North East (same areas), immediately the electric company cut off the electricity in those places. People rushed out in the middle of the night to fresh shelters, clung together to wait for the quake stopped and to go home.
We must carry on helping because people’s hearts are soft now. Survivors have recognized that it is Christians who are visiting them, cooking for them, listening to them, bringing needed resources to them. "

FTH Germany Director, Jean-Pierre Rummens, traveled to Sendai Japan in early April to help local NGO's receive containers of aid. While on the ground Jean-Pierre was able to visit several of the distribution centres in North Sendai.
Working with several key donor groups in Germany, media footage was recorded for several secular news networks back in Germany. From this footage, one of the donors produced this report.
