FTH has set up a new page listing all current information about the Bushfires in Victoria and how the church is actively working to bring relief and hope to survivors.
Many charities are hard at work doing what they do best in the disaster zone but FTH would like to highlight the extraordinary efforts of churches and ministries who have stepped out of their comfort zone to help their mates through this difficult time.
If you know of any stories, or have a personal testimony that you would like to share please contact the office and it will be published on this website.

Many Australians have been overwhelmed by the ferocity and destruction of the bushfires that swept through rural victoria on 8th February.
FTH will assist local Christian City Churches (Ps. Phil Pringle) in Victoria to bring relief and hope to the survivors of this horrific natural disaster.
You can help by donating directly to C3 Churches here.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pray for the personal prayer requests of FTH's partners and friends. Requests for healing, financial breakthroughs and for reconciliation of family members were just some of the topics received and prayed over.
"I was tremendously blessed to see that over half of the personal requests were for salvations of friends and family members", said Benjamin Evans, "all those other areas are important but the first priority must always be the eternal salvation of our mates."
Copies of all prayer requests received have been forwarded to the The Harvest Show and the 24 hour prayer team at our LESEA Headquarters in South Bend. Peter Sumrall will personally bring a copy with him to the Western Wall in Jerusalem, as has been our custom for many years.
Thanks to the generosity of friends and partners of Feed The Hungry we have been able to increase the number of children receiving hot and nutritious meals through our orphanage support program called "EveryChild EveryDay".
As of December 2008, we are providing daily meals for 20,700 children. Click here to find out where.
FTH is currently securing logistical support for disaster relief in the Victorian Area. Once we have confirmed that we are able to effectively collect and distribute emergency aid we update this page with appeal information.

Our founder Lester Sumrall was born in February 1913. Every year, the ministries he founded take this month to place a special extra extra emphasis on prayer and the needs of our partners.
We believe in prayer. During these times of change in our country, the world and our economy, we know there are needs, serious needs and we want to stand in agreement with you for miracles.
We would like to invite our partners and friends to send in their personal prayer requests for a day of prayer of the 15th February 2009.
