"The news from around the world the last few months has been heartbreaking, frightening, and cruel. All over the globe people are wondering where their next meal will come from. In fact, the United Nations reports that about one billion people in our world are “chronically hungry and malnourished.” What a staggering number!

In this issue of the Field Report, you’ll see how your support sustains work in places where the Gospel cannot be freely preached, like Cambodia and Myanmar in Asia. Food is the key that allows us to minister, that opens people’s hearts to God."

6/11/09 - Partner Letter Released - Wiping tear stained faces in Sri Lanka

Thanks to the ongoing and regular support from generous partners and friends, Feed The Hungry has recently commenced supporting CASL through our orphanage support program EveryChild EveryDay. Dilshan & Debs manage several centres across the busy city of Kandy. Each facility acts as a child-care centre for babies and toddlers and as a drop-in centre for older street children.

5/11/09 - Samoa Disaster Relief - Gallery Updated

"I am writing to report to you we have completed the full amount of food delivered for the funds you sent as of Oct 30, 2009.

We are happy to report that we used 100% of your funds for food.

We were able to aid over 300 families of 6 with food for one week, also we were able to go to every village effected.

I would like to personally thank the people of the great nation of Australia for helping the people of Samoa.
