Please continue to pray for the survivors of the terrible Haiti earthquake which killed an estimated 230,000 people.
The supply of food, general safety, security and transition from temporary into permanent alternative housing remain priority prayer requests. Our distribution partners have been reporting an increasing agitation among people with the situation which doesn't seem to be progressing to their satisfaction.
To date, FTH has shipped over 400,000kg of food and relief items to Haiti and is feeding 2,500 families every week.

You have fed hungry children in Liberia, Africa ... and I can’t thank you enough! You have helped provide meals to Every Child Every Day. The children are happy and healthy ... they play, they pray, they sing to the Lord.
I’m grateful to God for what you’ve helped to do in Liberia, in only a little over two years. But there’s trouble next door. In Sierra Leone.

Life is harsh in the Nairobi slums. Hunger, disease, and lack of medical care create a vicious cycle for the children and families here. Yet despite these heartbreaking conditions, it's still possible to make a difference.
By partnering with Feed the Hungry, Lifetree Adventure volunteers will work in Kibera, Nairobi's largest slum. The team will assist with food drops, working with AIDS-infected families, and spending time at a school that cares for hundreds of children.
After serving in Nairobi, you'll head into the bush to extend the love of Christ to people whose most basic needs often go unmet. Foremost of these needs is access to clean drinking water. That's something we take for granted in western countries, but it is a precious commodity in many locations around the globe. One of those places is Kituia village some 80 miles from Nairobi-and that's where Lifetree Adventure volunteers will be to help with water purification projects and agricultural projects.
