FTH considers prayer a vital and Super-Natural part of every food distribution.
If you are willing and able to partner in prayer with our relief work around the world, then we invite you to join us in the prayer of agreement.
In particular we would appreciate prayer covering in the following areas:-
- for corporate donations of bulk, non-perishable food supplies (eg rice, beans, grain, dehydrated soups and milks)
- for donations and favourable arrangements with global shipping organisations (eg. shipping, trucking)
- for smooth and honorable dealings with governmental logistical organisations (eg. customs)
- for the safety and security of all field members of FTH as they travel the globe
- for the miraculous stretching and multiplication of the quantity of food at all distributions
- that multitudes will hear the gospel and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior
- that pastors and leaders on the mission field will be encouraged, strengthened and empowered
Special Prayer Requests - 8/7/10
Here are a few of the things we would ask you to pray for as we reach out to be then hands and feet of Christ at home and around the world:
Sri Lanka
We have recently partnered with Child Action Lanka to love on and
serve at least 60 vulnerable children with our Every Child Every Day program. Pray for blessing and growth in this new partnership and ministry, that more children will be fed each day and learn to know Christ as Saviour.
Brazil, Peru and Colombia
Pray for more volunteers, larger facilities and more support to expand the Every Child Every Day ministry to reach the multitudes of hungry children in the Amazons. Click here to view photos.
Burundi
Pray for peace between the government officials and the teachers so that teacher strikes do not continue and that the children are able to go back to school, where they are given meals each day and a good education. Click here to view photos.
Uganda
Please pray for adequate rains to help increase food production at harvest this year. Pray for miraculous blessings of food for the community of Kitgum and surrounding areas which suffer from food shortage and high food prices.
Your prayers and support are vital to the ministry of Feed the Hungry and to reaching the lost around the world. Thank you for your support.
Sudan
Pastor Stanley runs New Generation Ministries, two elementary schools and The Dreamland Orphanage. Please remember Stanley’s prayer requests during your prayer time.
"These children are growing older and need spiritual exposure and depth to nurture them into adolescence. We need helpers that will be fully committed to the overall welfare of these kids.
Pray for volunteer teachers and nurses for these kids. May the Lord sow seeds of love and passion in their hearts, leading them to radical spiritual encounters from day to day.”
“Ask for the Spirit of wisdom, understanding and revelation in the Knowledge of Jesus for every child.”
“And pray against an ‘orphaned’ spirit of self-pity and shame that is wired into so many of the children here in Sudan.”
