These children received bracelets donated by William Knight, from Faith Life Church, in Branson MO USA.
The man in the background, the owner of this home, discovered five boats had been washed ashore and into his yard when the floods had subsided.
This is Arthur, he is delivering food, taking names and listening to survivors share their stories. This family has taken in another family whose home was destroyed. They were all so thankful.
Another family that has taken in people. In fact almost every house had a tent in their yard, meaning they were allowing people who had lost their homes to stay there temporarily.
This man is a priest who came to minister to the people.
At his home, a family of four live in a tent in his backyard. Unfortunately the family lost two children in the Tsunami. The surviving children are very sad he said and they need hope.From the hymn - Great is thy faithfulness:
"Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow..."
