Dr. Lester Sumrall knew the feeling of being called a failure and being told he was finished. His physical death and collapse of his ministry had been predicted many times.
When Dr. Sumrall was a teenager and critically ill with tuberculosis, the doctor examined him and shook his head. "Lester will be dead in two hours! You should contact the undertaker and make the arrangements." The Lord healed Dr. Sumrall that night, and six decades of worldwide ministry
followed!
At seventeen years of age, he left home to preach. His father warned him, "If you preach, you will starve to death." But God was faithful to meet his every need since Dr. Sumrall surrendered his life to Him in 1930.
